Central Susquehanna Citizens Coalition

What is CSCC?

CSCC (the Central Susquehanna Citizens Coalition) is a grassroots organization centered in Union County that also reaches out to the rest of the Central Susquehanna Valley. We seek to be the shortest path from conviction to action.

What does CSCC do?

CSCC tries to develop events and ideas around the issues that CSCC people say most matter to them.  Here are the results of our most recent survey (2008):

Top 3 National Issues Top 3 State/Local Issues
1. Ending the Iraq war1. Health Care
2. Health Care2. Clean Energy
3. Energy/Environment3. Employment/Jobs

We plan to hold events related to health care and to clean energy in 2009, and will promote other events related to these issues as we learn of them.

CSCC also endorses candidates.  Because we are not a PAC, we do not contribute directly to any candidate. We simply share information about candidates and about opportunities to volunteer.
